Mental Health Resources

We observe Mental Health Awareness Month in May to raise awareness about mental health, reduce stigma, and promote support for individuals and families affected by mental illness. It's a time to educate, encourage open conversations, and make time to come together in community to practice and share time and space with one another.

We hope you’ll continue supporting local non-profits: Bay Cove Human Services and Sharing Kindness throughout the year. Both organizations support mental health education, addiction services, early intervention, developmental services and health and human services.

Sharing Kindness: Their goal as a nonprofit is to inspire courageous conversation – dialogue addressing how to support grievers and those who have been affected by suicide – by providing education and programs for grievers and their support networks. Many who are affected by grief and suicide also struggle with mental health; we want to eliminate the stigma around getting help, so that those who need it can reach out more confidently.
